Creating a document from a template

While the package provides functions like letter() and exam() to quickly and easy create documents, you may also create them directly from the File -> New File -> R Markdown menu. This is currently the only way to create a xaringan slide deck.

Steps

Creating a new file from a template.

1. Choose From Template
2. Select the type of file to create from the options to the right.
3. Give the document a name.
4. Select a location.
5. Choose OK.
